Are you confident in your professional choice?

The majority of people choose to attend school in the anticipation that their education would better position them for future employment and educational prospects. For instance, you might decide to apply for admission to a Bachelor of Accounting Sciences program as the initial step in your career path because you want to become a chartered accountant.

You will need to make ongoing job decisions throughout your life, including choosing what to study. Making a career decision is not something that happens only once. You should take some time to consider why you choose to study through Unisa and what you want to study. Choosing a degree that is not connected to a future profession and study options will have consequences, such as a loss of income and/or feeling unmotivated to study, even when switching to a different qualification is an option.

Even if you've already made a decision, the exercises below may help you confirm it or open your eyes to new possibilities. The career activities may aid in your decision-making if you are having trouble deciding.
